As the COVID-19 pandemic emerged keeping us all in our homes and no longer able to go out and enjoy DJ sets live and in the flesh, we decided it was high-time we reach out to some of our friends who mix records to enlist them to help us spread some good vibes and good tunes at a time when we could all use some positivity.
The second DJ we hit up was COSMO BAKER out of Philadelphia, PA - who went live for us on May 2, 2020 marking the second episode of our QUARANTUNES series of live streaming events.
There are very few DJs who truly embody the very essence of what DJing is all about, and Cosmo Baker is one of them. Cosmo is known globally as one of the top tier DJs on the planet, having toured the planet dozens of times and played many times on 5 different continents, in almost 50 different countries, in front of tens of thousands of people at once for over 2 decades. He’s widely regarded as an integral figure of the already rich Philadelphia DJ legacy alongside contemporaries such as DJ Jazzy Jeff, Questlove and Diplo. A master of "open format", Cosmo's known worldwide for his genre-spanning selection, technical prowess, and explosive stage presence and energy that he brings to his live performances.
